Washer & Dryer Instructions
We aim to make your laundry experience as simple as can be. On this page, you’ll find straightforward steps for using our washers and dryers, allowing you to get your laundry done quickly and smoothly.
Washing in 5 easy steps!
Our wash cycles are 55 minutes long, including a pre-wash.
- Choose the washing machine that’s right for your load size. At The Wassjop, we have two sizes: 6.5 kg machines and larger 13 kg machines perfect for bedding and bulky items.
- Put your laundry into the machine you’ve selected
- After that, follow these steps to start your wash:
1. Payment:
Insert enough coins and/or paper money into the payment station.
2. Select your machine:
Press the number corresponding to the washing machine you wish to use.
3. Detergent:
Purchase from the dispenser? Press the button for detergent and/or the button for fabric softener, based on your needs.
4. Get Change:
Press the change return button
(if needed).
5. Begin:
Press the start button on the selected washing machine.

Drying in 4 easy steps!
Our extra-large dryers can get 6.5 kg of laundry cupboard dry in just 20 minutes.
1. Select your dryer:
Place your washed clothes into the dryer you want to use.
2. Payment:
On the payment station, select your chosen dryer and pay for the drying service. You can also select the temperature and drying program here.
3. Get Change:
Press the change return button (if needed).
4. Begin:
Press the start button on the dryer you’ve selected.
